As a partner of the technician project of the Franz-Oberthür-Schule, WEGMANN automotive developed a prototype for a new decoiler together with the "Filum Automotive XVI" project team. Since September, the students have been in the company once a week and have been working on their project together with their WEGMANN automotive supervisors (more on this here). The result of this cooperation could be seen last Saturday (16.03.2019) at the open day. From 09:30 to 15:00, the Franz-Oberthür-Schule in Würzburg opened its doors and presented the work of the project teams to numerous guests, parents, pupils and teachers.
The technicians, who presented their comprehensive projects in a professional manner, were particularly popular. WEGMANN automotive is also very satisfied with the work of its project team and is looking forward to the next cooperation. The technician project is a great opportunity for the students to get to know operating procedures and gain practical experience. WEGMANN automotive is always happy to promote something like this.
